Saint John, Evangelist, Apostle

I love the fact that we celebrate Saint John's Feast during the Christmas Season, because I love the way he describes Christ's Incarnation. No "Messianic secret," for John! Right from the start, he tells us exactly Who Jesus Christ really is:

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...and the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us."
