"Women Deliver" evidently don't and don't want other women to deliver either.

LONDON, OCT. 22, 2007 (Zenit.org).- The global conference Women Deliver failed in its objective of finding ways to reduce maternal mortality and morbidity, reported various participating humanitarian organizations dedicated to the woman, family and the protection of life.

And a bunch of groups sent a letter to the conference organizers protesting the conference's emphasis on abortion as the way to prevent maternal death.

While I certainly agree with the signatories, my question is:

What did you expect???

Take a look at the "Women Deliver" website and tell me...is there any reason to have believed that this conference would've turned out otherwise?
