Today is September 11. Today, we hear Jesus say:

"But I say to you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate
you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you. To him
who strikes you on the cheek, offer the other also; and from him who takes away
your cloak do not withhold your coat as well."

Luke 6:27-29

This notion is radical—insanely so— in the eyes of the world. In Christian hearts, the "radical" is, in fact, true sanity. True peace.
